The Életöröm (Joy of Life) Retirement Home was inaugurated following Western European traditions on 1st December 2005. The Home is situated at the foothills of The Bakony only 15 km from Lake Balaton in a really neat and green suburban part of Cholnoky Residential Area in Veszprém.
The cultural programs of the city, the local climate and geographical features offer a wide variety of activities for its inhabitants. Our institution provides professional attentive nursing and loving care in a peaceful and homely manner with the help of our skilled and experienced staff.
There are 108 separate apartments on floors I-IV, 12 of which are studio apartments, 3 are double-room apartments and the remaining ones are all single-room apartments. The dimension of the apartments ranges from 30 to 50 m². All apartments are ideal and comfortable even for two people and can also be furnished with the furniture of the resident moving in. All our public areas, lifts and restricted car parks provide adequate access for our disabled residents with special needs.
The wings of the building compound surround a beautiful inner garden and comforting retreat sheltered from the wind and disturbance. Every apartment has a balcony, a built-in kitchen unit, a bathroom, a telephone line, a nurse alarm, cable television and internet access.
